tip of the day
It's been awhile, I've been working on a lot of new stuff, and will start sharing some recent work soon. Until then I thought I would give some reading tips on a few books I've recently read.
The third policeman by Flann O'Brien- Probably the strangest book I've ever read but I loved it. Don't really know how to explain this or give a proper summary of it with out going on telling you the whole story but it involves rooms where time does not exist, people turning into bicycles, a postman who is 71% bicycle, building boxes within boxes, mystery and hidden roads.
- I've heard a lot of good things about the writings of Paul Auster so I had to check it out, this is one of his more recent books. I really enjoyed the first part of this mystery story involving parallel universes and dreamlike scenarios, but felt a bit disappointed of the second part but I will definitely have to check out more of his books, the new york trilogy is suppose to be really good.
- This is a biography of the life of magician and escape artist Harry Houdini. If you liked movies such as the prestige and the illusionist or are just a fan of illusions you should definitely read this book. Found it very interesting and hope it will be turned into a good movie some day soon :)
