But it's about time I started blogging again, I got some new projects I will post in the following days/weeks so stay tuned.

Until then you can check out my inspiration tumblr blog, filled with random things I find interesting and inspiring.

The Line King

Finally got hold of "the Line King" a few weeks ago, been waiting to watch this documentary for some time now.
The Line King is the a documentary about Al Hirschfeld, one of my favorite illustrators of all time, he truly was "the line king" :)
if you're not familiar with his work you should check it out.
And if you get a chance do watch the documentary I found it extremely inspiring.

Here is a clip from the documentary, where Al tries it the new technology; computers and a wacom tablet :)

Al Hirschfeld

Just had to share this wonderful video I found on youtube of Al Hirschfeld, one of my big idols when it comes to illustration. In this movie he is 99 years old and still drawing such beautiful illustrations :) I hope I will still be drawing when I'm 99 years old :) and have a nice big white beard just as Al :)

Sylvia Ji

Wow. This are some of the coolest paintings I've seen in a long time by artist Sylvia Ji. She has a solo show right now at the white walls gallery

Also check out this interview with her on youtube

Brick

One of the best films I've seen this year so far is "brick". A great detective story set in a film noir style collage environment. Check out the trailer here:
