Totalt Jävla Mörker
Finished a new music video form punk/hardcore/metal act Totalt Jävla Mörker yesterday.
It's very rough and dark, but considering the music it works really well.

I recently started working on a new video for the band Logh
The video will be for the song "death to my hometown" from the album north. And it's going to feature a hungry galactic creature eating up the galaxy. I will post stuff continuously during the process, so here are some early sketches from my moleskine to begin with.On the left are some planet and moon sketches and on the right some creature sketches.
More creature sketches and some early storyboard sketches.
Some verry early and strange create sketches :)
Intergalactic ice cream cone made out of planets on the left and comet and rock sketches on the right.
One of my first sketches of the caracther.
Here are the storyboards for the video, some scenes are in the wrong order.
Trying out some different styles and textures for the planets.
Polka planet :) (don't know if it's called polka in english...)
First comp test of planets, stars and open space.
More to come so stay tuned :)

Me and Mathias at North Kingdom put together a Christmas card last week for NK. It ended up being like a short film, you can watch it here.
Mathias did the 3D and I did background paintings, character design and snow particles and mixed the sounds together. Above is the Background painting for the end sequence. Here's the background painting for the end where I've sketched out where the other elements will go.
The Character sketch for Santa.
Hope you all have a great holiday!

I just finished work on a new video for Swedish popact Those dancing days together with Popcore film.
Those dancing days - Home sweet home from picnicwithpanic on Vimeo.
Here is a QT version of the video >>> here!!!.
It might take some time to load, but be patient, if not you can check it out on youtube as well but I would recommend this version because it's in much better quality than on youtube.
My work on the video involved everything from keying the footage to comping it together with the backgrounds ,creating postcard graphics and animations.
Here are some screens from the process and of some of the graphics I put together:

The new John Butler Trio video was released this week. Popcore film asked me to help them out animating some streetart-ish gig posters on walls in a urban setting. The posters would feature the band members singing and playing the song. We spent some really long workdays to get it done in time. Anyway I think it turned out nice :) hope you like it.
Have a look for yourself:
Here's a quicktime version of the video:
