Art collection

Got back a few new prints from the framers yesterday so we spent the day hanging and
arranging the art on our walls. Here are a few picture of our art collection at home.
I have to stress that unfortunately some artwork was hard to photograph do to reflections and bad lighting.

Summer time!

It's still raining outside so I'm a bit bored at home will catch up on some drawing later today.
But I found 2 fun youtube videos I liked just had to post them;

Björk

Just bought Björk's new Voltaic cd/dvd box set (2 cds and 2 dvds) really nice.
I would so like to see her preform live but this will have to do for now.

Oh by the way if you are a firefox user, you should get the new version 3.5
since it has better color profile support then older versions.

Telenor animation

A few months ago I worked on this Telenor commercial as a animator / character designer.
If you live in Sweden you have probably seen it several times on tv.
It was directed by my friends over at Popcore for Acne film.
The model city/railroad was built by Mats Sahlström (Eljest film) and Anders Hellström (Manick Produktion) And the stop-motion animations was done by dockhus animation.

I made the short animation in the beginning of the knight and princess.

Unfinished drawing.

I started this drawing in december last year but it has never been completed. It was supposed to be
used for record cover when completed but the plans changed along the way.
Found these pictures from the process thought I might as well put them up here,
maybe I will complete it one day.


I started out with a rough pencil sketch.

This is a great book showcasing the work by an amazing illustrator called Vania, check it out.

Starting the inking process.

I used a classic ink quill and some dry brush technique.

Back to basics

Started to work on this canvas again last night, it's been standing for like a year on the floor
in my apartment, about time that I finish it up.

Through silver in blood

Went to Stockholm yesterday to attend a concert with Neurosis. I've seen them once before and this was a equally great experience as last time. it's always great to see a band you have admired since what seems like forever, and you have so high expectations and they still deliver on all marks. From what I've heard after this tour they will never tour again so I'm glad I've gotten the chance to see them twice now, the have influenced me a lot in my taste in music and a lot of great band would never have existed or sounded remotely close to what they do today if it wasn't for Neurosis.
